SUMMARY:
In this role you will assemble, test and pack components for various makes and models of electric heaters and elements. You will uphold all safety, production standards and perform all other duties as assigned.
OVERVIEW OF DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Ensuring safe work habits
  • Performing housekeeping of assigned work areas and quality of work
  • Producing subassemblies where details, methods, procedures, and abilities may be learned and acquired by short time experience, air or electric hand tools, box stitcher, wire stripper, wire cutters, test equipment, and other miscellaneous equipment to perform job
  • Performing visual inspect parts for obvious defects or damage
  • May scrap or repair returned goods
  • Perform testing and packing of heaters
  • Other duties as assigned by Assembly Specialist, Supervisor and Manager

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES:
  • Requires ability to read, write and comprehend English
  • Math such as addition, subtraction, multiplication and division, including decimals and fractions
  • Simple use of formulas, charts, tables, drawings specifications, schedules, wiring diagrams together with the use of adjustable measuring instruments
  • Ability to understand and perform administrative duties of job
  • Requires the use of judgment to plan, perform and make decisions as to the sequence of setups, operations and processes within the limitations of recognized standard methods and procedures
  • Moderate physical effort consisting of frequently lifting or moving average weight material of 35 lbs

EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION:
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • One to two years related experience
