Responsibilities
We are seeking a Mechanical Engineer for HVAC and plumbing design, as well as project management. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing mechanical systems, coordinating with multidisciplinary teams, and managing project timelines and deliverables to ensure successful completion.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design HVAC/mechanical systems including heating, ventilation, and air conditioning for commercial projects.
• Develop plumbing system designs in compliance with relevant codes and standards.
• Prepare detailed engineering drawings, specifications, and documentation.
• Collaborate with architects, contractors, and other engineers to integrate mechanical systems.
• Manage project schedules, budgets, and resources to meet project requirements.
• Conduct site visits and inspections to ensure design compliance and quality control.
• Assist in the procurement process by evaluating equipment and materials.
• Provide technical support during construction and commissioning phases.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from ABET accredited program.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred but not required. Recent, or soon-to-be graduates will be considered.
• Experience in HVAC and plumbing system design preferred.
• Strong project management skills and experience managing engineering projects.
• Proficiency with CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit) and engineering analysis tools.
• Knowledge of relevant codes and standards (ASHRAE, International Code Council, etc.).
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
