Job description

HVAC Technician / AC Mechanic Operator

Location: Montgomery, AL / Tuskegee, AL
Pay Rate: $25.32/hour
We are seeking experienced HVAC Technicians to maintain and repair air conditioning and ventilation systems supporting patient care and facility operations. This role is critical to environmental control, indoor air quality, and reliable performance across the healthcare system.
Responsibilities:
·         Perform preventive maintenance such as changing filters, cleaning coils, and checking overall system performance.
·         Inspect HVAC systems for wear, efficiency, and operational issues.
·         Diagnose malfunctions and replace faulty components such as motors, compressors, and thermostats.
·         Monitor and adjust central air conditioning systems to support patient care areas.
·         Help maintain indoor air quality through proper ventilation and humidity control.
·         Coordinate with other maintenance staff and hospital departments to ensure seamless HVAC operations.
Qualifications:
·         Minimum 3 years of documented HVAC or AC mechanic experience required.
·         Ability to work safely in heat, confined spaces, noisy settings, and around hazardous exposures.
