HVAC Foreman - Moore's Electrical & Mechanical
Location: Charlottesville & surrounding areas

The Role:
The HVAC Foreman is responsible for ensuring a quality install for our customers and doing so by always promoting safety. You will serve as an essential part of successful HVAC system installs on our commercial construction projects as well as providing leadership and support on our sites. Job sites will vary amongst commercial projects throughout the area. Projects will mainly consist of K-12, University, and Healthcare buildings.
What You'll Do:
  • Exceptional communication and leadership skills, commitment, dedication, patience, and thorough knowledge of the HVAC/Sheet Metal trade is key
  • Consistently and regularly plan the installation in strict conformance with contract requirements and in accordance with company procedures
  • Provide a safe job site for you and your crew to work. Uphold Moore's safety culture and procedures.
  • Must be able to manage coordinated and prefabricated projects
  • Ability to think on your feet and make decisions
  • Ability to manage more than one job at a time
  • Ability to handle stress and the pressure of the job
  • Be a training supervisor and mentor for your team
  • Must have a valid driver's license and clean driving record

You Bring:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • 2+ years of HVAC project leadership.
  • Journeyman or Master card a plus.
  • Basic computer skills; Microsoft Office, Bluebeam, and Procore experience a plus.
  • Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities.
  • Good physical condition with the ability to lift heavy objects and work in various environments.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Commitment to safety and following established protocols.
