As an HVAC Selling Technician you will play a key role in providing exceptional service while also identifying and recommending HVAC solutions that improve the performance and energy efficiency of our customers' systems. This is not your typical technician roleโ€”it's about offering value-driven solutions, ensuring customersโ€™ systems run at peak performance, and closing sales that make sense for the customerโ€™s needs. 

You'll combine your HVAC expertise with sales techniques to identify opportunities for service upgrades, system replacements, and other solutions that enhance the overall customer experience. Your goal? To deliver excellent service while building long-lasting relationships and growing the business. 

Essential Job Functions 

  • Diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain HVAC systems 
  • Ensure all work complies with industry standards and company protocols 
  • Engage customers in meaningful conversations about their HVAC systems, educating them on potential improvements, upgrades, or repairs that will benefit them in the long run 
  • Identify and present HVAC product and service recommendations based on customer needs and system analysis. Close sales for system upgrades, new equipment installations, and preventative maintenance plans. 
  • Establish rapport and trust with customers by offering tailored solutions, handling objections with professionalism, and providing clear, honest advice. 
  • Generate new business opportunities through customer referrals, follow-ups, and actively seeking potential service or upgrade opportunities while on the job. 
  • Work closely with our dispatch and sales teams to ensure timely scheduling and seamless follow-up on leads or job opportunities. 
  • Meet and exceed personal sales goals while maintaining high standards of technical service.
