HVAC Apprentice

Parker-Arntz Plumbing & Heating, Inc. is hiring for a commercial HVAC apprentice to add to their team. This is a significant opportunity to learn from tenured technicians, managers, and other personnel in the HVAC industry.

What we are seeking, The candidate:

  • Apprentices that are interested in further coaching and mentoring.
  • Desire to learn from experienced technicians.
  • Strong attendance and capable of fulfilling 40-hour work week with occasional ability to work weekends.
  • Understanding of commercial construction safety and ladder safety.
  • Understanding of installation codes, and initial stages in understanding and reading prints.
  • The physical ability to bend, squat, kneel, grasp, manipulate hand and power tools.
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds.
  • Desire to maintain and promote company moral, professionalism, and friendly work environment.
  • Works with accuracy and sense of urgency.

Qualifications:

  • 6 months to 1 year field experience minimum and preferred completion of formal HVAC training from vocational school.
  • Agree to post-offer, pre-hire: drug screening and motor vehicle record search, where permitted by law. A valid driver’s license is required.
