Job description

Job Title: Material HandlerJob Description

As a Material Handler, you will be responsible for the reconditioning of heat exchange plates. This involves removing old rubber gaskets, power washing the plates, testing for cracks or holes, washing and drying, gluing new gaskets, transferring into the oven, and packaging for shipment.

Responsibilities
  • Recondition heat exchange plates by removing old rubber gaskets.
  • Clean plates using power washers and test them for defects such as cracks or holes.
  • Use a black light and special material to identify defects in the plates.
  • Wash and dry plates after testing.
  • Glue new gaskets onto the plates and transfer them into an oven to adhere.
  • Cool and package plates for shipment.

  • 1 year of manufacturing or production experience.

  • Capability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.50 - $18.50/hr.
