Job Description
The Anatomy Assistant works closely with faculty, staff and students of the OPCVM. This position is responsible for meeting the day-to-day requirements of all facilities and functions that fall within the OPCVM Anatomy Department in addition to ordering supplies and maintaining inventory for the lab
Required Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent
Preferred Qualifications
Minimum one year experience in an anatomy or lab setting Knowledge of university program goals and objectives Familiarity with veterinary medical field Experience with animal cadaver and osteology work

Assist the anatomy veterinarians in preparation of specimens as needed

Assist the designated faculty to provide anatomy experiences for students in an efficient, professional, safe, authoritative manner

Assist in the education of students as they acquire the entry-level skills, knowledge, and understanding of veterinary medical anatomy required of veterinarians under the direction of designated faculty

Comply with all personal protective equipment requirements
