Job description

Ullico Inc. is actively recruiting a Full Stack Developer II to join our IT department in Silver Spring, MD.ย  The Full Stack Developer II will assist with the design, implementation and maintenance of Ullico's internal and external web applications as a full-stack web developer. The incumbent will be part of a cross-functional team working within the SDLC on multiple front and back-end coding languages, frameworks and software libraries. Design front-end interfaces with a focus on visual design and utility. Produce documentation related to various work activities from architecture/design to bug tracking.

Job Duties:
  • Develop web applications using C# (.NET), ColdFusion, Java (Spring MVC), JavaScript, CSS and HTML
  • Use frameworks/libraries like Bootstrap and jQuery to build responsive applications
  • Interact with business analyst and other support staff to determine needs of program modifications or enhancements.
  • Participate effectively in project requirements, development and testing status review meetings
  • Develop flow diagrams for new and legacy applications.
  • Use Git to manage and track all changes across development activities, including maintaining repositories, creating branches, committing code, and collaborating with team members through structured version control workflows.
  • Use Adobe XD and Adobe Photoshop to design application wireframes, create visual mockups, and produce high-quality graphics that support user interface development and overall product design.
  • Design SQL tables and write queries and stored procedures
  • Performs other similar and related duties as required.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience with HTML for building and structuring web applications
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience with JavaScript for client-side development
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience using jQuery for DOM manipulation and front-end functionality
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience with Bootstrap for responsive design and UI components
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience applying Object-Oriented Programming principles in application development
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience developing applications in .NET using C#
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience working with SQL for database design, queries, and data management
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience using Git for version control and collaborative development
