About the Job
The Material Handler serves our customers for success by ensuring the timely and accurate receiving and shipping of feed products and/or ingredients. Candidates must demonstrate skills in problem solving, time management, communication, collaboration, and adaptability.

Responsibilities:
  • Assemble customer orders, ensures all paperwork is in line, and verifies all loads are correct and ready for shipment in an efficient manner
  • Unload shipments, record proper inventory, and place the items in the appropriate locations
  • Properly palletize product, stretch-wrap, label, and stock inventory to ensure quality
  • Keep track of all damaged inventory and report it to supervisor
  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment
  • Perform daily forklift inspections
  • Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or a combination of education and work experience
  • Basic knowledge of using and operating warehouse equipment required
  • Forklift experience is preferred, but not required
  • Possesses a self-starter attitude
  • Works well in a team environment
  • Valid driver's license is required
  • Ability to work overtime and weekend hours, as needed
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background investigation
