What You'll Get to Do
The Material Handler 2 is focused on moving aluminum extrusions from the racks to the staging zone for the saw operator. The Material Handler 2 reports to the Custom Door Fabrication Supervisor.
This role is perfect for an individual who is safety-minded, detail-focused, a team player, and enjoys working in a manufacturing environment. A vital member of the Door Fabrication Department, this is an opportunity to build a career with an industry leader.

  • Full Time - 1st shift - 10 hours (5:00 AM - 3:30 PM, Monday - Thursday)

Job responsibilities include:
  • Ability to read and use a tape measure to a 1/32.
  • Ability to lift, push, pull, or move up to 50 lbs.
  • Requires constant reaching, handling and grasping while turning of upper body while moving and lifting.
  • Ability to grasp and squeeze small parts and large items.
  • Ability to stand and walk on a concrete floor, wearing steel-toed shoes with metatarsal guards and other safety equipment for eight to ten hours per day.
  • Ability to wear all safety wear including hard hats, steel toe boots with metatarsals, safety glasses, ear plugs, gloves, Kevlar sleeves and long pants.

What We Are Looking For
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize work with deadlines; ability to work overtime when required.
  • Prior work experience performed inside a production/manufacturing environment.
  • Ability to lift, push, pull, or move up to 50 lbs. unassisted.
  • Requires constant reaching, handling and grasping while turning of upper body while moving and lifting.
  • Ability to stand and move around on your feet for 8-10 hours per day on a concrete floor.
  • Able to withstand noise levels in the work environment that can be moderate to high.
  • The ability to safely perform tasks, adhere to all safety policies and procedures, and correct or report hazards in the workplace.
  • Stable work history with at least one (1) year of previous work experience in manufacturing or a production facility.
  • Ability to read written instructions and take verbal directions.
  • Ability to use a hand pallet and or motorized pallet jack.
  • Forklift experience a plus.
