Innerpak Inc. Is seeking dependable and motivated individuals to join our manufacturing team as assistant machine operators. This position supports daily production operations through supporting machine operators, alleviating their workload by becoming a supporting role to allow operators to complete their tasks more efficiently.
The ideal candidate is detail-oriented and capable of working efficiently in a production environment. Entry-level candidates are encouraged to apply. Training is provided.
Job Responsibilities
Production Support
· Operate basic production equipment
· Assist machine operators in meeting daily production goals by building and preparing knives and dies for production runs
· Assist with die cutter setup by installing dies and preparing equipment for job changeovers
· Assist with die cutter breakdowns by uninstalling dies, breaking them down, and resetting for upcoming production runs
· Build and prepare knives for multiple die cutter stations as needed
· Assist machine operators by handling and putting in stock to more efficiently meet production goals
· Follow established work instructions and production standards
Tooling and Setup
· Inspect dies, knives, inserts, and plates prior to and after a set up to ensure they meet quality standards
· Verify partition measurements and job specifications before production runs to ensure accuracy
· Maintain organized storage and inventory of knives and inserts across all die cutters
· Report damaged, worn, or defective knives, inserts, or plates to operators or management
Quality Control
· Inspect tooling and setup components to ensure quality requirements are met before production begins
· Verify job measurements and specification errors and production downtime
· Report quality concerns promptly to operators, supervisors, or management promptly
Facility Maintenance
· Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
· Return all tools and equipment to its designated area after each shift
· Keep die cutter work areas, tooling stations, and storage locations orderly and free of debris
· Assist with general facility cleanliness as needed
Safety Compliance
· Follow all OSHA and company safety procedures
· Properly wear and maintain required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
o Closed toe non-slip shoes (required)
o Safety glasses, ear plugs, and gloves (optional)
· Participate in safety meetings and training as required
Qualifications & Requirements
Education
· High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred but not required.
Experience
· Previous manufacturing or warehouse experience is preferred

Skills and Abilities
· Ability to follow verbal and written instructions
· Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
· Ability to work independently and as part of a team
· Ability to properly read a tape measure
· Ability to complete basic addition, subtraction, division, and multiplication problems
· Reliable attendance and punctuality required
Physical Requirements
· Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time
· Frequent bending, lifting, and repetitive movement
· Able to lift a minimum of 20lbs
· Ability to work in a manufacturing environment with varying noise levels
Schedule (Overtime may be required based on production demands)
First Shift
· Monday – Thursday 4AM – 1PM
· Friday 4AM – 8AM
Second Shift
· Monday – Thursday 1PM – 11PM
