Job description

PARR is the total source for homebuilding supplies, solutions, and services. We focus on supplying building materials and solutions to professional home builders of all sizes including custom builders, large production builders, and multifamily builders. Compensation & Schedule
Pay: $24.38-$26.63 per hour + overtime
Full-time, consistent hours
Home daily - local routes
Day shift (typical start early morning)
No Saturday or Sunday work
Looking for a CDL job where you are home every day, working as supportive team with legendary service, and using well-maintained equipment? Join PARR as a Class B Driver delivering building materials to residential and commercial job sites using a truck mounted forklift.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver building materials safely and on time to customer job sites (hand delivery may be required in some situations)
  • Operate class B flatbed trucks and truck-mounted forklifts (Moffett)
  • Secure loads and verify accuracy before leaving the yard
  • Navigate a variety of delivery environments including new developments and rural roads
  • Take delivery photos and complete documentation for each job
  • Communicate with dispatch, yard teams, and customers throughout the day
  • Perform daily vehicle inspections and follow all DOT and safety regulations

A Typical Day

  • Start your day at the yard pre-trip and loading materials with the team
  • Complete local delivery runs using a flatbed and truck mounted lift using a delivery app to route and track deliveries
  • Skilled delivery work requiring precision and problem-solving
  • Interact with customers and ensure accurate product placement
  • Return to the yard and head home - no overnight routes
  • Outdoor working environment

Qualifications

  • Valid Class B or higher CDL
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent
  • Must be 21 years old or older
  • Clean driving record
  • Current DOT Medical Card
  • Ability to speak, write, and read Englishrequired
  • Flatbed or construction delivery experience preferred
  • Forklift/Moffett experience preferred (training available)
  • Ability to lift or move up to 100 lbs. and work outdoors in all-weather
  • Strong work ethic and customer service mindset
