Job description

Job Title: Fiber Optic Technician (Lead & Helper)

Location: Massachusetts (Travel between MDU properties required)

Overview

We are hiring two Fiber Optic Technicians to support a statewide initiative providing affordable Wi-Fi access to low-income housing communities throughout Massachusetts. One position will serve as the Lead Technician, while the second will be an Entry-Level Helper/Technician.

Responsibilities
  • Pull and route fiber optic cable throughout multi-dwelling units (MDUs)
  • Install, terminate, and support fiber optic infrastructure
  • Assist with CAT5, CAT6, coaxial, and structured cabling installations
  • Read and follow installation plans and cable pathways
  • Maintain a safe work environment and comply with OSHA standards
  • Support telecommunications hardware and network connectivity projects

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $34.00/hr.
