Job Description
  • Working knowledge of healthcare EMR/EHR/Healthcare claims data
  • Hands on knowledge of clinical and health economics related analytics (HEOR- Health Economic and outcome research).
  • Understanding of data warehousing and data management in healthcare environment
  • Basic understanding of healthcare interoperability especially in Claims, eMR, Clinical and Lab applications..
  • Exposure to clinical terminologies like ICD9, ICD 10, CPT4, SNOMED.
  • Experience with HIPAA, and knowledge of PII best practices.
  • At least 4-6 years of experience in executing IT projects with 2 years of Business analysis expertise in healthcare analytics environment..
  • Business analysis skills with strong analytical skills..
  • Excellent communication, customer service, documentation and presentation skill is required.
  • The work profile should reflect close to 100% customer satisfaction.
  • Strong Time Management skill is mandatory and multi-tasking is expected.
  • Ready to utilize knowledge base and experience in order to understand the processes and steps and support customer consistently.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Health Care Administration, health-related field or Computer Science from an accredited university or college; Master's Degree in Health Care Administration or health-related field or in Health Information Technology (Health IT) from an accredited university or college is a plus
  • 3 years professional work experience in a professional environment
  • Analysis: Ability to collect information and study it to identify gaps, need for improvement, inconsistencies, etc.
