Shift: Variable Shifts, 40 Hours Per Week

MLee Healthcare is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Medical Laboratory Technician/Technologist to join our affiliate healthcare team. This position offers an opportunity to work in a growing organization, contributing to patient care through accurate and timely laboratory testing.
Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine and specialized laboratory tests in various areas such as hematology, clinical chemistry, microbiology, immunology, and blood banking.
  • Prepare specimens, analyze and report findings accurately and efficiently.
  • Operate and maintain laboratory equipment, ensuring proper functioning and calibration.
  • Conduct quality control checks and participate in quality assurance activities to ensure accurate test results.
  • Adhere to laboratory safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to interpret test results and contribute to patient care decisions.
  • Document all procedures and results accurately in the laboratory information system.
  • Assist in training and mentoring new laboratory staff and students.
  • Stay updated with advances in laboratory technology and participate in continuing education to maintain licensure and certifications.
Qualifications:
  • Associate's degree in medical laboratory technology (MLT) or Bachelor's degree in Medical Laboratory Science (MLS)
