STARTING AUGUST/ SEPTEMBER | 2-MONTH TEMPORARY ASSIGNMENT | DAY & NIGHT SHIFTS AVAILABLEOverview

We are currently seeking dedicated and safety-focused Haul Truck Operators for a 2-month temporary assignment starting in August/September. This is an excellent opportunity to join a dynamic mining operation and contribute to the safe and efficient movement of coal in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operation of Haul Trucks: Safely operate haul trucks to transport coal from the mining site to designated locations.

  • Daily Inspections: Conduct thorough pre-shift and post-shift inspections of equipment to ensure safe operation and compliance with maintenance standards.

  • Load Management: Work closely with site supervisors to manage load quantities and ensure efficient, timely transport of materials.

  • Communication: Utilize handheld radios to communicate effectively with team members and supervisors regarding operations and any issues that arise.

  • Safety Compliance: Follow all safety procedures, policies, and regulations to maintain a safe work environment.

  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate logs of loads transported, inspections completed, and any maintenance concerns identified.

  • Maintenance Support: Assist with minor equipment maintenance and cleaning as needed.

Qualifications
  • Experience: Previous haul truck operating experience is preferred but not required. Must have heavy equipment experience.

  • Safety Focus: Strong commitment to workplace safety and attention to detail.

  • Communication Skills: Ability to communicate effectively with supervisors and team members.

  • Reliability: Dependable, punctual, and committed to maintaining a strong work ethic.

Training

Comprehensive on-the-job training is provided, including hands-on experience through a Trainer Ride-Along program, to ensure operators are prepared for success.

Pay Details: $25.00 per hour
