Overview
The Marketing & Communications Coordinator will join a growing global function with a clear mandate: to help CB&I accelerate growth. Responsible for supporting and coordinating marketing and communications processes, initiatives and content, this individual contributor will collaborate closely with functional colleagues. The position would suit an entry level professional, with developing knowledge of the marketing and communications spectrum.
This position is an Individual Contributor role. The role directly reports to the Senior Manager, Marketing & Communications and routinely interacts with External vendors, functional team members, and regional managers.
Responsibilities
  • Create and coordinate engaging content for internal and external audiences, including news articles, announcements, website content, social media posts, presentations, videos, podcasts, and marketing materials.
  • Coordinate and manage content calendars and support the scheduling and publishing of approved content across the company website, intranet, social media, and other communication channels.
  • Maintain and update digital communication channels and content management systems to ensure content is current, accurate, and aligned with brand standards.
  • Support the development and execution of marketing and communications campaigns by coordinating projects, gathering content, and tracking deliverables.
  • Monitor, analyze, and report on communications, marketing, social media, and website performance metrics to help measure effectiveness and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Conduct research and gather customer, employee, industry, and market insights to support communication and marketing initiatives.
  • Track and report on media coverage, industry news, and social media activity to support media relations and reputation management efforts.
  • Provide logistical support for employee events, town halls, industry conferences, trade shows, sponsorships, and other company activities.
  • Maintain marketing and communications assets, including photography, video, branded materials, and digital content libraries.
  • Manage company merchandise programs and vendor relationships, including ordering, inventory coordination, and website updates.
  • Provide administrative support to the Marketing and Communications team, including invoice processing, budget tracking, and project coordination.
  • Build collaborative relationships across the business to support communication, branding, engagement, and marketing objectives.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, Public Relations, or a related field or equivalent work experience required.
  • Zero to three (0-3) years of experience in marketing, communications, public relations, content creation, or a related field.
  • Experience managing or supporting social media platforms and content management systems.
  • Working knowledge of marketing principles, branding, content development, and communication strategies.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft 365 applications, including Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Teams.
  • Familiarity with marketing, design, or analytics tools such as Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, Google Analytics, HubSpot, or similar platforms preferred.
  • Knowledge of the oil and gas, energy, or industrial sectors with the ability to quickly learn technical concepts and industry terminology preferred.
