- Assist with application architecture planning, implementation, and review
- Perform WebLogic administration tasks on Linux servers including configuration, deployments, analysis, and troubleshooting
- Provide support for RabbitMQ
- Provide production support for mission critical applications including oncall responsibilities based on team rotation
- Provide security recommendations and implementation following ETF standards and best practices
- Follow and promote best practices and development standards
- Work with business customers to perform analysis and troubleshooting as necessary
- Work with other IT staff to implement process improvements
- Communicate effectively both verbally and in writing with team members, management, and business customers
- Must be a self-starter with the ability to work independently and produce results
Secondary:
- Work with staff from the Division of Enterprise Technology to coordinate WebSphere administration tasks on Windows servers including configuration, deployments, analysis, and troubleshooting
- Provide architectural guidance to developers regarding the following core development technologies: Java, Struts, spring, Hibernate, Oracle, PL/SQL, JavaScript, and JIRA. Additional technologies for the BAS project include Kofax, Linux, GWT, WebLogic, Selenium, RabbitMQ, Maven, SVN, Eclipse, Crucible, Bamboo, and Jmeter.
