Job description

Overview

Construction Inspectors to work on a NYSDOT Region 8 project in Orange County, NY, NICET II minimum or equivalent, with 2-3 years of experience on similar construction projects preferred, but entry level candidates will be considered. Please note:  The job location is Goshen, NY.

Responsibilities

Inspect construction activities for NYSDOT project, prepare daily Inspector reports, confirm Contractor quantities, ensure implementation of MPT.

Qualifications

Diploma or undergraduate degree in Engineering, and/or NICET 2,3 certification with 2-3 years of experience.  Entry level candidates will be considered.

Certifications/Licenses: NICET II, III

The pay range for this position in New York is $40-65/hour; however, base pay offered may be higher or lower depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience of the candidate. Restricted stock units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the position offered. This information is provided per the salary transparency provisions of the NYCHRL. Base pay information is based on market location. Applicants should apply via the NV5 careers site.
