The New Product Introduction Systems (NPI Systems) team within Intel Foundry Automation (IFA) is seeking a talentedSoftware Applications Development Engineerto develop comprehensive full-stack software solutions that drive our manufacturing excellence.

What You'll Do

• Develop automation applications for new product introduction workflows, execution readiness, build logistics, and Design of Experiments (DOE) planning
• Responsibilities include complete software project lifecycle spanning requirements analysis, design, development, testing and support for automation applications
• Collaborate with Assembly Test Technology Development (ATTD) and Logic Technology Development (LTD) teams across TD and High-Volume manufacturing facilities
• Analyze stakeholder requirements to identify key challenges and design optimal application/system solutions
• Build robust, high-performance applications that meet current and forecasted business needs
• Develop and execute comprehensive automated testing suites to ensure functionality, reliability, and performance
• Provide expert-level technical support to TD factories and process engineers

Qualifications:

The Minimum qualifications are required to be initially considered for this position. Minimum qualifications listed below would be obtained through a combination of industry relevant job experience, internship experience and / or schoolwork/classes/research. The preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.

Minimum Qualifications

• U.S. Citizenship required
• Ability to obtain and maintain US Government TS Security Clearance and SCI access.
• Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or in a STEM related field
• 2+ years of object-oriented software design and development experience
• Experience with Microsoft technologies (C#, .NET Framework) and Angular/ TypeScript
• Experienced in Agile and Scrum Processes
• Experience with database development in PL/SQL (Oracle) and/or TSQL (Microsoft SQL Server)

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with writing WPF (Window Presentation Foundation) and WCF (Windows Communication Foundation) Services
• Experience with Designing multi-tiered and integrated software systems
• Software project management experience covering overall software development life cycle and familiarity with Agile/SCRUM practices
• Experience working with existing software stack and applying new requirements efficiently to meet scalability needs

Annual Salary Range for jobs which could be performed in the US: $100,550.00-194,270.00 USDThe range displayed on this job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target compensation for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Work Model for this Role
