Job Summary:
SG Cap Trading, LLC is a boutique technology company that leverages technology and big data to solve financial challenges. They are seeking a Full Stack Software Engineer to enhance internal tools and infrastructure for their research, engineering, and trading teams.
Responsibilities:
โ€ข Own and enhance internal software systems supporting research, engineering, and trading operations.
โ€ข Develop across the full stack, including applications, data pipelines, infrastructure, and tooling.
โ€ข Design, implement, and document scalable infrastructure solutions.
โ€ข Leverage AI coding tools (Claude, Codex, GitHub Copilot, Cursor, LLMs) to accelerate development, debugging, and testing.
โ€ข Collaborate with traders, systems engineers, and software engineers to deliver effective software solutions.
Qualifications:
Required:
โ€ข 2+ years of experience in a Full Stack Software Engineer, Software Developer, or similar software development role.
โ€ข Proficiency in Python for scripting, automation, and data processing.
โ€ข Experience integrating Python-based tools and data workflows into web applications.
โ€ข Familiarity with Git, code reviews, and CI/CD development practices.
