Overview

High Tide Inc. is looking for a Talent Acquisition Coordinator for our corporate office in Calgary, AB for a temporary 3-month term.

Our organization is growing exponentially, and phenomenally successful in the cannabis sector. The Recruitment Coordinator is responsible for a wide variety of administrative duties to support the Recruitment team and other HR members. The Talent Acquisition Coordinator will report to the Retail Talent Acquisition Manager.

This role is ideal for an entry level Talent Acquisition Coordinator that is enthusiastic about recruitment and wants to learn in a high volume environment. 

Responsibilities
  • Provide administrative support to members of the recruitment and onboarding team.
  • Partner with Recruiters to sort resumes of candidates for active mandates.
  • Provide administrative support for creating job postings, job specifications etc.
  • Sorting candidates by reviewing resumes and job applications.
  • Follow up with candidates to advise them on interview schedules.
  • Assisting Recruitment team with research, analysis and implementation of programs, reports, and projects.
  • Work with HR team to facilitate orientation and onboarding on new employees.
  • Other duties shall be assigned as required.
Qualifications
  • Post-Secondary Diploma in Human Resources, or relevant discipline, required.
  • CPHR designation preferred or CPHR candidate.
  • 1 - 2 years' experience in a Recruitment/Talent Acquisition Coordinator role preferred.
  • Strong relationship building skills and communication skills.
  • Knowledge of Recruitment procedures ATS and practices.
  • Maintain confidentiality.
  • Strong attention to details.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, Power Point).
  • Resourceful and flexible.
  • Proven organizational and time management skills.
