Job description

Job Summary:
Genesis10 is currently seeking a .NET Developer for a contract position with a Global Financial Institution located in Pennington, NJ. This role involves developing, testing, and maintaining software systems while collaborating with onshore feature leads and contributing to the entire software development lifecycle.
Responsibilities:
• Work with onshore feature leads to develop code as per the project need and timelines
• Participate in dev review of design, document and raise dev queries to relevant stakeholders
• Work with other teams as required for integration of code and fix the integration defects
• Create design specifications and Unit tests
• Maintain existing software systems as required
• Learn new technologies and processes
• Ensure that software is developed to meet functional, non-functional, and compliance requirements
• Code solutions, unit tests, and ensure the solution can be integrated successfully into the overall application/system with a clear, robust and well-tested interface
• Contribute to story refinement/defining requirements
• Participate and guide team in estimating work necessary to realize a story/requirement through the delivery lifecycle
• Assist team with resolving technical complexities involved in realizing story work
• Contribute to existing test suites (integration, regression, performance)
• Analyze test reports, identify any test issues/errors and triage the underlying cause
• Document and communicate required information for deployment, maintenance, support, and business functionality
