What you'll do...
• Carry out operational tasks using documented procedures and runbooks
• Support infrastructure changes with guidance from senior engineers
• Monitor environments and respond to alerts to maintain system health
• Process ServiceNow tickets including requests and incident support
• Perform routine maintenance such as patching and access updates
• Assist with deployment and decommission workflows
• Support disaster recovery validation and testing
• Maintain and enhance system documentation and runbooks
• Troubleshoot across compute, storage, virtualization, and cloud platforms
• Identify opportunities for simple automation enhancements
What you'll bring...
• Degree in Computer Science or related discipline or equivalent experience
• One to three years of hands on infrastructure or systems support experience
• Entry level certifications across Microsoft, Linux, VMware, cloud, or storage preferred, including Microsoft Fundamentals/Associate, Linux+, RHCSA, VMware VCTA/VCA, Security+, AWS Cloud Practitioner, Azure Fundamentals, Pure Storage associate, or Brocade SAN administrator credentials.
• Working knowledge across multiple technical domains with interest in one primary area
• Experience with Windows and or Linux system administration tasks
• Exposure to VMware virtualization platforms
• Familiarity with storage systems and Fibre Channel concepts
• Awareness of AWS and Azure environments and cloud resource design, troubleshooting and management experience
• Understanding of Kubernetes fundamentals and container platforms
• Ability to review and adjust scripts in PowerShell, Bash, Python, Terraform, or Ansible
• Strong documentation, communication, and organizational skills
The salary range for this job is $72800 - $109200. This is a hybrid position and employee will work in Rocky Hill and Avon sites.
