ABOUT THE POSITION JOB SUMMARY: The Clark County Water Reclamation District is seeking qualified candidates to apply for the Utility Full Stack Developer I/II (Oracle Developer) position. This position will be primarily responsible for: Gathering, analyzing, and translating business requirements into technical solutions; designing and implementing Oracle database objects such as tables, views, stored procedures, functions, and packages. Supporting integration of Oracle-based systems with internal and external applications, including data exchange between databases and other platforms.
Performing unit testing and assisting with system and integration testing to ensure solution quality, performance, and alignment with business requirements. Monitoring database and application performance, identifying issues or bottlenecks, and assisting in troubleshooting, tuning, and optimization. Creating and maintaining technical documentation, including design specifications, data mappings, and operational procedures.
Providing technical support, responding to user inquiries, and collaborating with IT teams and vendors for issue resolution, enhancements, and system maintenance. The Utility Full Stack Developer I is a flex position. Upon successful completion of the training program and meeting the minimum qualifications of the higher-level class, to include obtaining any required certifications and/or licenses, the successful candidate will be non-competitively promoted to Utility Full Stack Developer II. Education and Experience: Utility Full Stack Developer I: Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, network systems or a related field.
Some large-scale programming and/or systems analysis experience preferred. Utility Full Stack Developer II: In addition to the above: Two (2) years of full-time professional level experience in systems analysis and programming in a large multi-processing environment. Equivalent combination of formal education, certification programs in the technology field, and appropriate related experience may be considered.
Licenses/Certifications: Specified positions may require possession of a valid Nevada Class C driver's license at time of appointment. Background Investigation: Employment is contingent upon successful completion of a background investigation. Additional background investigations may be conducted periodically after employment.
