Job description

The Developer will work as part of a cross-functional Agile delivery team to implement and support a replacement IAM/customer authentication solution. This role will contribute to both front-end and back-end development, with responsibilities spanning Ping Identity integration, React-based authentication UI components, and Java service/API development.

Responsibilities include:

Configure and integrate Ping Identity components to support customer authentication flows, SSO, MFA, federation, and session management.

Develop and enhance React-based mobile web sign-on UI components for responsive and secure customer authentication.

Build and maintain Java-based backend services and APIs supporting authentication, authorization, token validation, and identity workflows.

Integrate authentication services with enterprise systems, APIs, directories, customer identity stores, and downstream applications.

Support replacement and migration from the existing IAM solution to the new authentication platform.

Ensure the mobile web sign-on experience works effectively when surfaced through an app wrapper, with no native mobile authentication UI currently in scope.

Implement secure coding practices across UI and backend services, including OAuth 2.0, OIDC, SAML, JWT, and secure session handling.

Participate in unit testing, integration testing, defect triage, code reviews, and performance tuning.

Support deployment, cutover, production readiness, and post-launch stabilization activities.

Collaborate with product, architecture, QA, security, and delivery teams in an Agile environment.
