Salary Range: $129,000 - $154,000 annually

Job Description

TULK is seeking a Mid-Level SharePoint Web Developer to support a mission-focused customer in Springfield, VA. This role supports the Intelligence Community by helping design, develop, administer, and sustain Microsoft SharePoint-based applications, workflows, sites, and business process automation solutions.

The selected candidate will work with a development team, clients, stakeholders, and project managers to analyze business requirements, improve enterprise processes, and deliver user-centered SharePoint solutions. The work includes front-end and back-end SharePoint development, workflow automation, accessibility support, cross-browser compatibility, and recommendations for system and process improvements.

This is a hands-on development role supporting SharePoint 2019, SharePoint Subscription Edition, and SharePoint Online environments.

Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, administer, and maintain Microsoft SharePoint-based applications and solutions.
  • Support the design, development, and maintenance of SharePoint websites from both front-end and back-end perspectives.
  • Create and maintain complex SharePoint workflows to improve and streamline business processes.
  • Develop, configure, and maintain SharePoint templates, scripts, site designs, custom code, forms, and workflows.
  • Use Power Platform tools, including Power Automate, Power Apps, and Power BI, to build workflows and tools in SharePoint.
  • Develop forms and workflows using Nintex.
  • Use SPFx to integrate custom code into SharePoint solutions.
  • Support SharePoint page design, Modern View configuration, workflows, administration, migration, and automated deployment processes.
  • Provide support for migrating SharePoint Online sites from Classic View to Modern View.
  • Work with clients, stakeholders, and end users to gather requirements, identify process gaps, and recommend improved tools and approaches.
  • Perform interface modifications to SharePoint utilities and tools.
  • Support content migrations, workflow development, and solution deployments.
  • Ensure front-end solutions work across browsers, platforms, and devices while meeting accessibility and security requirements.
  • Collaborate with team members across the software development life cycle, including requirements definition, design, development, testing, deployment, and sustainment.
Required Qualifications
  • Active TS/SCI clearance.
  • Willingness to take a Counterintelligence polygraph.
  • U.S. Citizenship.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
  • 11+ years of experience with web development, including SharePoint website design, development, and maintenance.
  • Experience with SharePoint 2019, SharePoint Subscription Edition, and/or SharePoint Online.
  • Experience with Power Platform tools, including Power Automate, Power Apps, and Power BI.
  • Experience creating and maintaining SharePoint templates, scripts, site designs, and custom code.
  • Experience developing and maintaining forms and workflows using Nintex.
  • Experience using SPFx to integrate custom code into SharePoint solutions.
  • Experience with JavaScript and JavaScript module loaders such as Require.js and AMD.
  • Strong understanding of jQuery, including features such as $.ajax.
  • Experience with the .NET framework and web markup languages, including C#, HTML, and CSS.
  • Understanding of asynchronous request handling, partial page updates, and AJAX.
  • Experience with React and Angular.
  • Understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues and related workarounds.
  • Familiarity with input validation techniques and approaches.
  • Understanding of browser rendering behavior and performance.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Strong attention to detail.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with SharePoint customization, including custom branding, navigation, search configuration, site collections, and content type development.
  • Experience with Python and SQL.
  • Experience working directly with clients, stakeholders, and end users to gather requirements and recommend process improvements.
  • Ability to collaborate across organizations and at multiple levels.
  • Ability to translate a vision into strategic and tactical plans and execute against those plans.
