Job description

Looking for mid to senior engineers for a full stack contribution to a mission management tool. You will work as part of a small Agile subteam within a larger team of engineers building remarkable surveillance augmentation software. Newer UI components are written in React and TypeScript, the remaining older UI components are maintained in Java and C++. Back end processing and business logic is a mixture of Java, C++ and Rust. Candidates should be interested in working in a fast-paced environment using Agile methodologies with frequent customer feedback. Candidates should be comfortable moving between different languages and parts of the stack to reach creative and effective solutions. This position has opportunities for travel and direct interaction with operators on military aircraft and ground stations..

Core Position Requirements

  • U.S. citizenship
  • Comfort with Linux/Unix operating systems
  • Front end web development experience, preferably in JavaScript / TypeScript
  • Java and/or C++ experience
  • Experience creating service APIs with HTTP and/or WebSockets
  • Experience evaluating technologies

Ideal candidates will also have some of the following:

  • Experience with containerization technologies, such as Docker, Podman, and Kubernetes
  • Experience deploying solutions to cloud hosting solutions
  • Experience using Git source control
  • Experience with CI pipelines
  • Knowledge of Agile/Lean/Scrum methodologies
