Entry-Level Quality Systems Specialist

Company:

The Boeing Company is looking for an Entry-Level Quality Systems Specialist to join our team in Seal Beach, CA, Berkeley, MO or Seattle, WA. Their primary responsibility will be to maintain quality directives and ensure compliance with the quality management system standards.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Supports reviews of proposals, contracts, regulatory, program and customer requirements in the development of quality assurance plans

  • Assists with maintenance of Quality directives, policies, processes, procedures and metrics

  • Collects data to support analysis of process data, metrics, models and flows to identify root cause of routine problems

  • Collects data to support research and analysis of performance reports to improve process capability

  • Collects, develops, track and report of corrective and preventive actions (CAPA)

  • Collects data to support Quality source selection activity

  • Supports preparation for hardware, software and system level audits

  • Supports communications, reports and presentation materials for leadership reviews and strategic meetings.

  • Works under close supervision

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • To meet U.S. export control compliance requirements, a "U.S. Person" as defined by 22 C.F.R. 120.62 is required. "U.S. Person" includes U.S. Citizen, U.S. National, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee

  • Experience in performing data analysis

  • Experience with Project Management

  • Experience using Microsoft Office Products like Outlook, Power Point, Excel, and Word

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelor's Degree or higher

  • Experience working with quality and/or manufacturing data systems

  • Experience in quality inspection and/or auditing

  • Experience in Quality Management Systems (QMS)

  • Experience working in a Lab/Flight Test environment

  • Experience in quality, lab test and/or metrology

  • Experience in the application of AS9100

  • Experience managing projects that involved cross-functional or cross-business unit teams
