Job description

Title: x2 Forward Deployed Engineer (FDE)

Duration: Perm

Must-haves

• Hands on experience with Power Platform (PowerApps, Power Automate, Power Pages).

• Ability to build custom Copilot Studio agents (not just configure templates).

• Familiarity with Azure AI services and prompt engineering.

• Strong understanding of M365 security and authentication (Entra ID, Teams, Microsoft Graph).

• Experience with API integration and event driven workflows.

• Comfort working independently in a small team, owning solutions end to end.

• Strong communication skills to bridge business needs and technical delivery.

Day-to-Day

The Forward Deployed Engineer will partner directly with business stakeholders to design, build, and deploy custom AI-powered solutions using Microsoft Copilot, Copilot Studio, Power Platform, and Azure AI. This role is hands on: you’ll meet with end users, understand their needs, and rapidly deliver intelligent apps, agents, and automations that improve business outcomes. This role is about building and owning solutions — not just designing frameworks. You’ll be part of a small, forward deployed team that acts as the first line of intake, troubleshooting, and delivery for enterprise AI initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• AI & Agent Development — Build custom agents; automate workflows and processes using Azure AI.

• Power Platform Engineering — Develop apps, workflows, and connectors in PowerApps and Power Automate; configure environments and security.

• Business Consulting — Work directly with business users to gather requirements, document outcomes, and translate needs into solutions.

• Integration — Connect solutions to enterprise systems (ERP, CRM, HRIS, ServiceNow, Workday) using APIs and approved connectors.

• Governance & Security — Help establish guardrails, intake processes, and standards for Copilot and Power Platform solutions.

• Microsoft 365 Ecosystem — Deploy solutions leveraging Entra ID, Teams, Microsoft Graph, and the broader M365 stack.

• First Escalation Support — Serve as the first point of troubleshooting for agents and automations you build.
