Pay Rate is $18.00 an hour
Work schedule hours are Monday through Friday, 6:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
First shift.
JOB DESCRIPTION
  • The Forklift Operator is responsible for the safe, accurate movement of products within the distribution center.
  • Transport palletized product within the distribution center (unload, put away double deep, bulk and full pallet pick, load, replenishment)
  • Operate material handling equipment, including high reach, counterbalance, electric pallet jack, and dock stocker.
  • Use RF Scanner and WMS to ensure inventory accuracy and track products throughout the site. Ensure product integrity while performing all tasks.
  • Follow site safety procedures, including required PPE (safety vest, safety shoes).
  • Cross train and become knowledgeable in other areas. Provide backup support when required.
Education and Experience:
  • High School Diploma or GED, preferred.
  • 1 year of relevant experience, required in lieu of High School Diploma or GED.
  • Intermediate experience with either a high reach or counterbalance required.
  • Experience with Manhattan WMS, preferred.
Knowledge and Skills:
  • Ability to obtain a forklift certification within 2 days of employment.
  • Ability to read and interpret distribution documents in English.
  • Ability to operate MHE and use an RF scanner.
  • Basic analytical, organizational and prioritization skills.
  • General distribution knowledge.
  • Basic computer skills.
  • Strong initiative and drive for results.

  • The associate may occasionally be required to climb. The job may require lifting over 50lbs in some areas but not all.
  • Associate must have normal field of vision corrected to 20/40 in each eye and must have hearing sufficient to safely operate MHE [Material Handling Equipment] in a manufacturing/distribution environment.
Work Environment: (if applicable)
  • The noise level is moderate to loud. There will almost always be exposure to work near moving mechanical equipment, exposure to precarious situations.
  • Occasionally the position will have exposure to fumes/airborne particles.
