Job description

Summary
Responsible for supporting the account management and sales teams while learning all aspects of customer relationship management, project coordination, and service delivery. This entry-level role is designed to develop future Account Managers through hands-on training, mentorship, and exposure to day-to-day business operations.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
  • Assist Account Managers in managing customer accounts, ensuring client satisfaction and timely response to inquiries.
  • Learn company products, services, and processes to effectively support customer needs.
  • Help prepare quotes, proposals, and service agreements.
  • Support the coordination of projects, scheduling, and communication between departments.
  • Track and follow up on customer requests, orders, and service issues.
  • Maintain accurate records in CRM or account management systems.
  • Participate in meetings with clients and internal teams to understand account management strategies.
  • Gather and analyze customer data to identify trends and opportunities.
  • Learn to manage renewals, service expansions, and upselling opportunities.

Education and/or Experience
Bachelor's degree in business, communications, or related field preferred; equivalent experience considered.
Computer Skills
Proficiency with Microsoft Office; knowledge of CRM software a plus.
Physical Demands
Prolonged periods of sitting and computer use; regularly required to sit and use hands, talk or hear, stand; walk and reach with hands and arms; occasionally lift and/or move up to 10 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision.
