Job description

Advantage Point Group is looking to add an Owners Representative with mechanical construction experience for a 6-month position at an industrial plant located in Cordova, IL to monitor a fire project replacement project. 
APG Owners Reps oversee construction activities on large chemical manufacturing facilities to ensure that the contractors are completing the work safely and compliant with the contract. The ideal candidate has substantial construction management and construction safety experience, preferably in heavy commercial or industrial environments.
You will not be performing the physical labor.
NOTE: PLEASE NO RECRUITING OR STAFFING AGENCIES.
Required Qualifications
  • 12 years previous experience in industrial/heavy commercial construction
  • Demonstrated ability to manage similar project types, sizes, and complexities
  • Construction experience with fire protection equipment upgrade projects
  • OSHA 30-Hour
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Proficient computer skills (Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Ability to deal with political aspects of a large corporate environment.
  • 12-hour shift, 6 days per week. No work on Sundays.
 
Competitive Compensation and Benefits
  • Pay Rate: $50-$65 per hour depending upon previous experience and qualifications.
