Clarke Fire Protection Products, a division of Clarke Power, is recognized worldwide as a leading manufacturer of diesel fire pump engines.  With manufacturing facilities in the United States and Europe and support from over 300 service dealers, Clarke has over a 60-year track record of delivering quality products throughout the world.     


Clarke Fire has an immediate opening for a Marketing Coordinator at our Cincinnati, OH Headquarters.  This is a great opportunity for a self-motivated marketing professional to join our team!   

This role will primarily be responsible for assisting in the maintenance and development of digital assets for Clarkefire.com, social media marketing, presentations, and video.  The marketing coordinator will assist with trade show and event planning, update our website's search engine optimization (SEO), and work with sales management on our quarterly newsletter.  This individual will also coordinate projects and activities for marketing products and services by performing the following duties.

Requirements

Essential Duties and Responsibilities (other duties may be assigned):

  • Maintenance of Clarke's electronic communication platforms including: the Clarkefire.com website, Clarke Fire's intranet presence, and other communication channels.    
  • Assist with marketing collateral design and maintenance (spec sheets, brochures, video, infographics, presentations, product labels, etc....) using Adobe Creative Suite products, Canva, and other similar programs. 
  • Support the production of multimedia content, such as videos and animations.
  • Develop articles for social media and our website, by creating unique content or re-sharing article coverage from other sources.
  • Assisting in the creation of Sitefinity landing pages in multiple languages (English, Spanish, and French) and the day-to-day maintenance of Clarkefire.com.
  • Assist with SEO (Search Engine Optimization) Implementation including keyword updates, building links (link authority), recommending actions to improve page loading speeds, and helping to measure brand authority.   
  • Assist with the reporting of website and social media analytics, including providing recommendations on how best to improve performance and site navigation. 
  • Develop the quarterly electronic newsletter while ensuring the customer and vendor contact database is regularly maintained.  
  • Supports the planning of trade shows, meetings, and coordination of on-site participation.
  • Assist Clarke's training department with managing class registrations, developing training aids and presentations, and certificate distribution. 
  • Assist team members with day-to-day marketing tasks. 

Experience:

  • Familiarity with Sitefinity (Preferred) or similar Content Management System.  Strong understanding of social media platforms.
  • Experience with Adobe's Creative suite and Microsoft Office applications.    
  • Graphic design, animation or video development, and/or website programming experience would be helpful.    
  • This person should show excellent attention to detail, be well organized and self-motivated.  Must demonstrate the ability to work effectively under pressure with tight deadlines. Project management experience a plus. 
  • Excellent command of written English language. A second language is a plus.
  • Some experience with an email newsletter platform (Constant Contact, MailChimp) as well as management of a global contact database is preferred. 
  • Familiarity with Search Engine Optimization best practices.  

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree (B.A.), associate's degree, or 1-3 years of in-person practical experience in a similar marketing role.
  • Certifications in email marketing, social media marketing, project management, Adobe creative suite, marketing analytics, or other relevant certificates, a plus. 

Work Environment:

  • Clarke's marketing department requires in-office work hours, with some flexibility for remote workdays.
