Job Summary:
Addepar is a global data and AI platform empowering investment professionals to turn complex financial information into actionable intelligence. They are seeking a Fullstack Software Engineer for their Core Application Workflows team to maintain and evolve critical services that power their financial data ecosystem while enhancing user experiences and implementing robust solutions.
Responsibilities:
• Be part of a high-performing, cross-functional team
• Own features, work alongside and learn from senior engineers, and ship code.
• Learn and demonstrate engineering standard processes and principles
• Document software functionality, system design, and project plans; this includes clean, readable code with comments.
• Collaborate closely with our engineering leads to define and implement our platform architecture to meet Addepar’s growth and scalability needs
• Evaluate and drive strategic business and technology decisions for the company and for customers
Qualifications:
Required:
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or similar technical field of study (or equivalent practical experience)
• Proficient in one or more programming languages, we mostly use Java here but its not a requirement you are familiar to apply
• Proficient or willing to learn front end frameworks, we use a few here including Ember and Svelte
• Experience with databases, SQL, NoSQL, OLAP, and/or data lake architectures
• Proven ability to collaborate with engineers and cross functional partners
• A rapid learner with robust analytical and problem-solving abilities
