Job description

We are Lennar Lennar is one of the nation's leading homebuilders, dedicated to making an impact and creating an extraordinary experience for their Homeowners, Communities, and Associates by building quality homes and providing exceptional customer service, giving back to the communities in which we work and live in, and fostering a culture of opportunity and growth for our Associates throughout their career. Lennar has been recognized as a Fortune 500® company and consistently ranked among the top homebuilders in the United States. Join a Company that Empowers you to Build your Future We are seeking an early-career Software Engineer to join one of our domain product teams, building applications that deliver direct business value. Our product teams own their services end-to-end and operate in a self-service model — leveraging golden-path templates, CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure modules provided by central platform teams. You'll build a strong engineering foundation on a modern stack — TypeScript/React on the front end, Go on the backend — alongside enterprise ServiceNow development and a growing portfolio of AI-enabled capabilities. Your Responsibilities on the Team Develop, test, and maintain front-end features using TypeScript and React under the guidance of senior engineers. Contribute to backend services written in Go, including bug fixes, enhancements, and unit testing. Assist in ServiceNow development, including catalog items, workflows, and platform scripting. Participate in the full software development lifecycle: design discussions, code reviews, testing, and deployment. Use platform-provided tooling — CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions), IaC modules (Terraform), and internal developer portal (IDP) templates — to build and ship features. Contribute to the development of agentic and AI product capabilities — AI agents, MCP servers, and LLM-powered features — with mentorship from senior engineers, ideally leveraging AWS Bedrock. Requirements Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent practical experience. 0–2 years of professional software development experience (internships and co-ops count). Foundational knowledge of TypeScript/JavaScript and a modern front-end framework, preferably React. Familiarity with at least one backend language; exposure to Go is a plus. Understanding of Git-based version control and collaborative development workflows. Strong problem-solving skills, curiosity, and a demonstrated desire to learn. Nice to Have Exposure to the ServiceNow platform or certification coursework. Familiarity with CI/CD concepts (GitHub Actions or similar). Coursework or personal projects involving cloud services, AI agents, or LLM-based tooling. Life at Lennar At Lennar, we are committed to fostering a supportive and enriching environment for our Associates, offering a comprehensive array of benefits designed to enhance their well-being and professional growth. Our Associates have access to robust health insurance plans, including Medical, Dental, and Vision coverage, ensuring their health needs are well taken care of. Our 401(k) Retirement Plan, complete with a $1 for $1 Company Match up to 5%, helps secure their financial future, while Paid Parental Leave and an Associate Assistance Plan provide essential support during life's critical moments. From the moment of hire, they can enjoy up to three weeks of vacation annually, alongside generous Holiday, Sick Leave, and Personal Day policies. Additionally, we offer a New Hire Referral Bonus Program, significant Home Purchase Discounts, and unique opportunities such as the Everyone’s Included Day. At Lennar, we believe in investing in our Associates, empowering them to thrive both personally and professionally.
