Startup technology company is seeking a software engineer with expertise in C++, Java and/or Scala who has familiarity with always on, high-frequency platforms, as well as a desire to work in a fast-paced startup environment with a strong financial backing.

Job Description

The technology stack includes Scala, Scalaz, Finagle, LMAX Disruptor, OpenHFT Chronicle, Elasticsearch, Spark, Redis, Ansible, and Docker. You will use your expertise to recommend the best open source tools for projects and open source your efforts.

You must have:

  • Enthusiasm about learning and sharing knowledge in a team-oriented, startup environment
  • A mindset that software development is a craft
  • An eye for typed functional programming
  • A passion and a discipline for writing great software
  • A desire to collaborate with team members to address the challenges of the programmatic ad tech space
Qualifications

Requirements:

  • Expertise with at least two JVM languages (such as Scala, Java, Clojure, etc.)
