Job Summary:
LanceSoft, Inc. is seeking a Data Analyst III to extract and analyze data from SAP S/4HANA. The role involves creating Excel macros, managing datasets, and collaborating with stakeholders to improve data processes.
Responsibilities:
• Extract data from SAP S/4HANA and export to Excel for further processing.
• Create and manage Excel macros and pivot tables to sort, compare, and analyze data outputs.
• Gather datasets from Excel and filter for duplications using the description fields.
• Utilize AI programs to sort and filter outputs based on similar descriptions using natural language interpretation.
• Contribute to the development and requirement definition of technologies, products, systems, and services.
• Analyze technical and business challenges, develop hypotheses, evaluate alternatives, and recommend solutions.
• Set up and configure simulation, testing, and prototyping environments.
• Program and develop specialized software tools used within the team or organization.
• Conduct simulations or data analyses and validate results for accuracy and effectiveness.
• Document and report results using appropriate data visualization methods.
• Collaborate with customers, business experts, product management, and other stakeholders.
• Provide guidance and assistance to less experienced colleagues as needed.
• Support continuous improvement by identifying optimization opportunities in tools and processes.
Qualifications:
Required:
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technologies, Database Management, or a related field required.
• 1–3 years of experience in data migration.
• Hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA, particularly with the following modules: MM (Materials Management) – Procurement, LE (Logistics Execution)
• Experience in Master Data Migration processes.
• Proficiency in Excel, including advanced features like macros and pivot tables.
• Experience with data cleansing, deduplication, and standardization.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
Preferred:
• Familiarity with AI or natural language processing tools for description matching is a plus.
• Certification in specific SAP modules or data migration tools is a plus.
