In this role, you will support project financial activities, help maintain accurate project data, and assist in ensuring projects are executed efficiently and profitably. This position offers exposure to diverse construction projects across the U.S. and the opportunity to collaborate with cross-functional teams while developing your analytical and project accounting skills.
Essential Roles and Responsibilities:
Financial Management
  • Assist with collecting, reviewing, and maintaining accurate financial documentation.
  • Support project cost codes and budget setup activities.
  • Monitor project costs, labor hours, and forecast updates (ETC) under guidance from senior team members.
  • Prepare project billing and reconciling general ledger accounts as needed.
  • Support month-end close activities, including reconciliations and accruals, in accordance with GAAP and internal policies.

Critical Thinking
  • Help analyze project financial data to identify trends or variances.
  • Prepare and summarize data sets-such as cost trends, profitability, AP/AR balances, and schedule performance-for review by project teams and management.
  • Assist in identifying potential project risks and support data-driven recommendations.

Project Execution
  • Ensure adherence to established financial and project processes.
  • Provide day-to-day support to project teams, including forecasting updates, time collection troubleshooting (e.g., InEight), and project closeout tasks.
  • Maintain accurate and organized project documentation.

Collaboration
  • Work closely with finance, field teams, and project leadership to support financial and operational alignment.
  • Communicate with clients regarding project costs, invoicing, and progress metrics as needed.
