Location: This is a full-time, primarily on-site opportunity based in Tysons Corner, VA, with occasional time spent in the firm's Leesburg office. We value in-person collaboration and are looking for attorneys who enjoy working closely with an experienced team.

Job Description

  • Meet with clients to discuss estate planning goals and develop customized legal solutions.
  • Draft and review wills, trusts, powers of attorney, advance medical directives, and other estate planning documents.
  • Guide clients through probate, estate administration, and trust administration matters.
  • Develop strategies for estate administration while ensuring all deadlines and legal requirements are met.
  • Collaborate with financial advisors, accountants, and other professionals to implement comprehensive estate plans.
  • Maintain regular communication with clients throughout the planning and administration process.
  • Conduct legal research and stay current on changes affecting trusts and estates law.
  • Work closely with experienced attorneys while gradually expanding your own client responsibilities.

Qualifications

  • Juris Doctor from an accredited law school.
  • Active Virginia Bar license required.
  • 2+ years of estate planning and/or estate and trust administration experience.
  • Strong legal writing, drafting, and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication and client relationship skills.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating with a supportive team.
  • Maryland and/or DC Bar admission is preferred.
  • Tax law or business law experience is a plus.
