Environmental Specialist (Entry Level to Associate Level) CapstoneONE Search | Muskegon, Michigan (On-site)


We are representing a globally recognized manufacturing organization actively seeking an Environmental Engineer or EHS Specialist to join their site EHS team. This is a great fit for a new graduate or early-career professional (up to 3 years of experience) looking to build a career in environmental compliance.


Position Overview

  • Supports hazardous and non-hazardous waste management, including tracking, accounting, and disposal recordkeeping
  • Heavy use of Excel for day-to-day data tracking and reporting
  • Coordinates with waste vendors and haulers; supports DOT shipping compliance
  • Communicates with plant staff, contractors, and outside vendors
  • Opportunity to grow into water and air compliance programs over time


Position Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required (Environmental Science, Engineering, or related field preferred)
  • 0-3 years of relevant experience; new grads encouraged to apply
  • Strong Excel and communication skills
