Position Summary: This entry level role will be responsible for manufacturing environment and safely operate production equipment to meet quality and production targets. Training will be provided.

Essential Duties:

  • Follows all safety procedures

  • Conduct pre-shift inspection of assigned forklift (to identify safety and maintenance concerns). Concerns are reported to Maintenance personnel

  • Operates fork lift - bringing applicable materials to all functional areas by responding to radio calls and prepping work stations.

  • Utilize a scanner to scan inbound and outbound product for location tracking (in Oracle ERP/WIP Management)

  • Load and unload product from incoming/outgoing trailers.

Additional Duties:

  • Complete shipping paperwork and inspections.

Basic Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma/GED (from an accredited institution).

  • Previous tow motor experience required

  • Ability to pay close attention to detail and operate vehicle safely

  • Ability to follow all instructions, rules, and regulations regarding safety

Physical Demands:

  • Lifting : Some lifting (less than 20% of workday)

  • Standing: Infrequently (less than 20% of workday)

  • Walking: Infrequently (less than 20% of workday)

  • Bending and Twisting: Minimal or none

  • Noise (percent of time working in noisy, production environment): 100% (PPE required).
