* Gérer les demandes de soumission (RFQ) auprès des laboratoires d"essais externes au nom des ingénieurs de projet
* Créer les demandes d"achat et assurer le suivi de la création et du traitement des bons de commande
* Suivre l"avancement des demandes d"essais (RT) et fournir des mises à jour régulières aux ingénieurs de projet
* Gérer les retours et commentaires des fournisseurs et assurer le suivi jusqu"à résolution lorsque les essais ne respectent pas les spécifications
* Coordonner l"entreposage, la récupération et l"expédition des éprouvettes physiques
*Rechercher, évaluer et intégrer de nouveaux laboratoires d"essais, avec un accent particulier sur l"élargissement de la base de fournisseurs canadiens
*Soutenir le processus de qualification des nouveaux fournisseurs d"essais et maintenir les dossiers de qualification
*Assurer une liaison régulière afin de partager les enjeux fournisseurs, s"aligner sur les audits des laboratoires et coordonner le maintien des qualifications
*Appuyer les négociations de meilleurs tarifs avec les laboratoires à fort volume en collaboration avec l"approvisionnement
*Agir comme agent de liaison entre la R&T et les autres départements (ex. : programmes moteurs) nécessitant du soutien en essais
* Développer et maintenir un organigramme ou guide décisionnel indiquant quel laboratoire utiliser selon le type de demande d"essai
* Créer et maintenir des ressources partagées, incluant l"historique des soumissions, les catalogues de dessins d"éprouvettes, des modèles de texte pour les RT et une base de données de suivi des RT
* S"assurer que les demandes d"essais respectent les procédures opérationnelles standards avant leur soumission
* Suivre et communiquer les indicateurs clés liés à l"avancement des RT, aux délais de réponse des fournisseurs et aux enjeux ouverts auprès de la direction de l"ingénierie
* Identifier les inefficacités dans les processus de demandes d"essais et d"approvisionnement et proposer des améliorations
Ce qu"il vous faut pour réussir:
*Baccalauréat en génie, en sciences appliquées ou dans un domaine connexe en STIM
*Excellentes aptitudes organisationnelles, grand souci du détail et rigueur dans le suivi, avec la capacité de gérer simultanément des dizaines de RT, de bons de commande et d"interactions fournisseurs
*Capacité à établir et à maintenir des relations de travail efficaces à tous les niveaux : ingénieurs de projet, approvisionnement, fournisseurs externes et gestionnaires
*Excellentes compétences en communication, en anglais et en français (préféré), pour interagir quotidiennement avec des équipes locales et internationales ainsi que des laboratoires d"essais
*Capacité à gérer des priorités concurrentes et à traiter efficacement des demandes urgentes provenant de plusieurs ingénieurs

We"re looking for a highly organized, technically curious individual to become our central point of contact for all material and sub-component testing across Research & Technology (R&T).
What Will Your Day-to-Day Look Like?:
*You will manage requests for quotations (RFQs) from external test houses on behalf of project engineers.
*You will create purchase requisitions and follow up on purchase order creation and processing.
*You will track the progress of Requests for Tests (RTs) and provide regular status updates to project engineers.
*You will manage turnbacks and supplier feedback, following up until resolution when test houses do not deliver to specification.
*You will coordinate physical specimen storage, retrieval, and shipping at the facility.
*You will research, evaluate, and onboard new test houses, with particular focus on expanding the Canadian supplier base.
*You will support the qualification process for new test suppliers and help maintain qualification records.
*You will liaise regularly to share supplier issues, align on test house audits, and coordinate qualification maintenance.
*You will support negotiations for improved rates with high-volume test houses in collaboration with procurement.
*You will serve as a liaison between R&T and other departments, such as Engine Programs, that require testing support.
*You will develop and maintain a flowchart or decision guide indicating which test house to use for each type of RT.
*You will build and maintain shared resources, including historical quote records, specimen drawing catalogues, RT text templates, and an RT tracking database.
*You will ensure RTs are aligned with standard operating procedures prior to submission.
*You will track and report key metrics related to RT progress, supplier turnaround times, and open issues to engineering leadership.
*You will identify inefficiencies in the RT and procurement workflow and propose improvements.
What You Need to Succeed:
*A Bachelor"s degree in Engineering, Applied Science, or a related STEM discipline is required.
*Strong organizational skills and attention to detail are essential, along with the ability to track dozens of RTs, purchase orders, and supplier interactions simultaneously.
*You must be able to build and maintain effective working relationships across all levels, including project engineers, procurement, external suppliers, and senior management.
*Clear and professional communication skills in English and French are preferred, as you will interact daily with local and international teams and test houses.
*You must be able to manage competing priorities and effectively triage urgent requests from multiple engineers at the same time.
*Comfortable working with spreadsheets, tracking tools, and procurement systems is required.
*You must be able to read and understand technical test requests and specifications.
*A self-starter attitude with a continuous improvement mindset is expected.
Nice to Have:
*Familiarity with materials testing, including metallurgy, mechanical testing, and fatigue, is an asset.
*Experience with ERP or procurement systems such as SAP is considered an advantage.
