As a result, a full‑time position is available for an Entry‑Level Airport Electrical Engineer to join our Aviation group. This position offers a flexible hybrid work schedule, requiring at least three days per week onsite at our Elizabeth, NJ office—an excellent opportunity to enjoy both in‑office collaboration and remote flexibility.

Responsibilities
  • Preparing electrical engineering documents
  • Assisting with the analysis, preparation or modification of reports, plans, schedules, studies, and designs for projects
  • Performing electrical design calculations
  • Assisting with the preparation of design and construction budgets
  • Designing airport electrical systems such as lighting for runways, taxiways, and aprons
  • Other duties as assigned.

A valid driver’s license and about 25% travel, including some overnights and weekends, will be required.

The successful candidate must have a bachelor's degree (or higher) in electrical engineering or related field from an accredited college or be able to obtain the degree within nine months of hire date.

Ideal candidate experience
  • Experience with AutoCAD, Microsoft Office Suite and Civil3D software
  • Construction Field Experience including observation and documentation
  • Electrical engineering coursework
