Job description

Job Title: Entry IT Support Specialist
We are seeking an Entry IT Support Specialist to help maintain and troubleshoot the company's technical systems and support smooth day-to-day IT operations. This is an entry-level role: you will start with hands-on IT support and equipment management, and grow into more advanced work over time. We actively use AI tools in our daily work, so comfort with AI assistants is part of the job from day one.
Who Thrives in This Role:
You like being the person others come to when something stops working. In a given week, you might set up a new hire's laptop, sort out a printer problem, add someone to a Google Group, tidy up the asset list, and work out how an AI assistant can take a repetitive task off a colleague's plate. You try new tools on your own before anyone asks you to, and you would rather ask a question than guess. When something lands on your desk, you stay with it until it is closed - and you tell people where it stands before they have to ask. This role is probably not for you if you want a narrow, well-defined ticket queue with no interruptions.
Responsibility Areas:
  • Provide first-line IT support for hardware, software, and network issues (laptops, desktops, printers, peripherals), and resolve support tickets within SLA guidelines.
  • Track and manage the inventory of IT equipment and assets (monitors, computers, peripherals), including setup, upgrades, and replacements.
  • Administer and troubleshoot the Google Workspace environment (Gmail, Drive, Sheets, Groups) at the account and user level.
  • Maintain and update troubleshooting documentation for common issues, and assist with routine system maintenance, security updates, and backup/recovery procedures.
  • Help maintain reporting dashboards in Google Data Studio (simple edits such as adding or adjusting tables and fields).
  • Leverage AI assistants (e.g., Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini) to speed up troubleshooting, documentation, and scripting, and collaborate with the IT team to improve support workflows.

Growth Path:
As you build experience, you will grow into more advanced responsibilities, including maintaining and enhancing our in-house ERP system (built with TypeScript and React), developing internal automation and tools, and expanding our reporting and data pipelines.
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 0 to 1+ years of experience in IT support or a similar role (entry-level candidates welcome).
  • Proficiency in troubleshooting hardware and software issues across Windows and macOS.
  • Working knowledge of Google Workspace and basic networking concepts (LAN/WAN, VPN, firewalls).
  • Familiarity with at least one programming language (JavaScript/TypeScript, Python, or Java); JavaScript/TypeScript is a plus.
  • Comfortable using AI assistants (e.g., Claude, ChatGPT) in daily work for drafting, debugging, and problem-solving.
  • Patient and approachable, willing to explain the same thing more than once, and clear in both spoken and written communication.
  • Ability to get up to speed on unfamiliar tools without step-by-step direction, and to own a request from intake to closure - keeping the requester informed and escalating clearly when needed.
  • Bilingual proficiency in English and Korean - you will support colleagues who are more comfortable in one or the other, and you can explain a technical fix plainly in both.
  • Willingness and flexibility to take on a broad range of IT-related and general support tasks as needed, including hands-on and ad-hoc duties.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Exposure to AI coding-assistant CLIs (e.g., Claude Code, Codex, Gemini CLI) and structured prompt design.
  • Exposure to GCP (Google Cloud Platform) and basic database concepts (MySQL, PostgreSQL).
  • Experience with TypeScript, React, or Next.js.
  • Experience building dashboards in Google Data Studio or similar BI tools.
  • Interest in logistics, supply chain, or manufacturing environments.
  • Relevant certifications (CompTIA A+, Google IT Support, etc.).

Work Hours: Full-Time (Monday - Friday, 8:30 AM - 5:30 PM)
Salary Range: $50,000-$65,000 annually
We believe great work deserves great support. Here's what we offer:
  • Medical, Dental & Vision Insurance
  • Paid Vacation, Sick Days, and Holidays
  • Performance Bonuses
  • Educational Training Reimbursements
  • Employee Referral Incentives
  • Daily Lunch Fringe Allowance
  • Team Lunches & Dinners
  • Fitness Membership Reimbursements
  • Employee Birthday Gifts
  • Recognition & Service Year Awards
