Job description

Responsibilities
  • Designs, develops, documents, tests and debugs application software and systems that contain logical and mathematical solutions
  • Conducts multidisciplinary research and collaborates with equipment designers and/or hardware engineers in the planning, design, development, and utilization of electronic data processing systems for product and commercial software
  • Determines computer user needs; analyzes system capabilities to resolve problems on program intent, output requirements, input data acquisition, programming techniques and controls; prepares operating instructions; designs and develops compilers and assemblers, utility programs, and operating systems
  • Ensures software standards are met
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree and 2 years of relevant exempt experience
  • Masterโ€™s Degree and 0 year of relevant professional experience
  • Experience in C++ development environments and tools such as Visual Studio
  • Experience with compilers such as WindRiver and code coverage tools like VectorCast
  • Experience with deployment and troubleshooting of software for an embedded system
  • Comfortable with and adaptable to the use of customized, proprietary development environments and toolsets
  • Strong planning, execution, and communication skills
