Job description

The Digital Marketing Writer and Coordinator works closely with supervisor and other stakeholders to plan and execute social media, email marketing and Google ads initiatives in support of advertising and marketing our Responsive Classroom Advertised Institutes specifically, but in support of other marketing efforts broadly or as an integrated initiative.

This position is also responsible for proficient to expert use of HubSpot and Meta Ads for content scheduling, email campaign creation, list management, research, reporting, and day-to-day marketing execution. The coordinator works with supervisor to manage social media channels across all platforms and with the website administrator on Google Analytics.

There is no remote or hybrid option for this position. Requires regular face-to-face meetings and interactions and serves as the on-site liaising and interactions with in-person team members.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities Social Media
  • Works closely with supervisors and designers plan and manage a content calendar, draft engaging captions and text, shoot/edit short-form videos and photos, and schedule posts for social platforms such as Meta, LinkedIn and YouTube.
  • Monitors and replies to comments, direct messages, and brand mentions to interact with followers and provide timely customer service.
  • Works closely with supervisory to identify and track key performance indicators such as reach, engagement, and conversion rates to measure campaign performance and adjust strategies.
  • Remains up-to-date with emerging social media trends, algorithm changes, and audience preferences to keep content relevant.
Email Marketing
  • Works closely with supervisor to build, schedule, and deploy email campaigns in HubSpot.
  • Manage contact lists, segmentation, and database organization in HubSpot CRM.
  • Create and maintain automated email workflows and drip campaigns.
  • Upload creative assets and ensure campaign quality assurance.
  • Monitor email performance and assist with optimization efforts.
  • Optimize performance through A/B testing; test all aspects of email marketing including day and time sent, from address, subject line, call-to-action placement and contact frequencies.
  • Employ a consistent best-practice approach and provide expertise for creating email, including management of marketing permissions, rules for customer contact frequency and CAN-SPAM, COPPA compliance.
  • Responsible for coordinating the daily flow of emails with internal teams and external vendors as required.
  • Work closely with internal team to effectively deploy all emails.
  • Review provided content, links and copy prior to packaging assets, email testing to ensure all edits are reflected before deployment.
  • Pull daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly analytics reports measuring email performance.
  • Proofs and collaborates with supervisor to provide okay to send on all emails before deployment.

Website and Google Analytics
  • Works closely with supervisor and website administrator to manage and optimizes Google Ads campaigns.
  • Conducts keyword research, create ad copy, set up targeting, monitor performance, and adjust strategies to improve ROI.
  • Manages, edits, and publishes day-to-day text, images, and media on website.
  • Proofread web copy, check links, and ensure pages match brand guidelines and web accessibility rules.
  • Add relevant keywords, meta descriptions, and alt text to boost search engine rankings.
  • Works closely with website administrator to communicate Google ad campaign performance results to teams and stakeholders.
  • Monitors Google ad campaign progress and tracks daily or weekly Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) like clicks, conversions, and spend pacing.
Other

Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor of Science in Communications, Marketing or related fields,
  • 1+ years of relevant professional experience.
  • Knowledge of and ability to quickly develop proficiency in using and scheduling HubSpot and Meta Ads to develop ad campaigns is required.
  • Knowledge of and ability to quickly develop proficiency in managing list in HubSpot and Meta.
  • Proficient use of design tools and technologies, such as HTML5, CSS3, Adobe XD, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, InDesign, JavaScript, Python.
  • Knowledge of and ability to quickly develop Google analytics proficiency for analyzing user behavior and traffic. Familiar with Google Tag Manager and basic landing page optimization.
  • Ability to work on a team, within a singular department or cross-departmentally; adapts quickly to changing work demands, requirements or processes.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in or able to quickly become proficient at using CRM software applications, particularly HubSpot.
  • Experience with social media scheduling or quickly able to demonstrate proficiency in doing so.
  • Experience with digital marketing and Pay-Per-Click (PPC) fundamentals or quickly able to learn and demonstrate proficiency.
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail; able to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
  • Exceptional planning, organizational, time management, attention to detail and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, including effective writing, speaking, and listening.
  • Proficient in productivity software (i.e., Microsoft Office, G-Suite)
