How much do entry level electronics engineer jobs pay per year?
What is the difference between Entry Level Electronics Engineer vs Electronics Technician?
| Aspect | Entry Level Electronics Engineer | Electronics Technician |
|---|---|---|
| Required Credentials | Bachelor's degree in electronics or related field | Associate degree or technical certification |
| Work Environment | Design, development, and testing of electronic systems | Installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of electronic equipment |
| Employer & Industry Usage | Engineering firms, tech companies, manufacturing | Manufacturing plants, service providers, repair shops |
While both roles involve working with electronics, Entry Level Electronics Engineers focus on designing and developing electronic systems, often requiring a bachelor's degree. Electronics Technicians typically handle installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting, usually with technical certifications. The roles differ mainly in responsibilities and educational requirements, but both are essential in the electronics industry.

We are looking for individuals who thrive on making an impact and want the excitement of being on a team that wins.
Are you a recent graduate in Engineering Physics, Electrical Engineering (Nano), Materials Engineering, Physics, Chemistry, or Nanosystems Technology? Do you want to build a career in MEMS (Micro-Electro-Mechanical Systems) and learn how cutting-edge microfabrication projects come to life?
Teledyne MEMS is one of the world's foremost pure-play MEMS foundries. We partner with global innovators to bring their MEMS devices to market - from biomedical sensors to optical and RF microsystems. We're growing, and we're looking for a technically-minded new graduate to join us as a Project Coordinator. This is not a traditional project management role - it's a launchpad into our engineering organization.
What You'll Do:
Support Project Managers in planning and executing MEMS development projects.
Coordinate cross-functional teams across engineering, operations, and customer interfaces.
Track project milestones, risks, and deliverables - and communicate them clearly to stakeholders.
Learn our systems, tools, and processes from the ground up.
Why This Role is Different:
It's designed for technical grads, not career project managers.
You'll gain exposure to MEMS fabrication, product development, and engineering operations.
You'll be mentored by experienced engineers and project managers.
This role can lead to future opportunities in Process Engineering, Product Engineering, or New
Product Introduction.
You Might Be a Fit If You:
Have a BSc or diploma in Engineering Physics, EE (Nano), Materials, Mechanical, Physics,
Chemistry, or Nanosystems Technology.
Are curious, organized, and eager to learn how MEMS devices are developed and manufactured.
Want to grow into a technical or product leadership role over time.
Prefer to start your career in a hands-on, cross-functional environment.
What we offer
Work on technologies that impact space, healthcare, and AI.
Collaborative, inclusive team environment.
Opportunities for growth and skill development.
Competitive compensation and benefits.
Global company with local impact.
Stability and innovation in one workplace.
What happens next
Apply online and our Talent Acquisition team will review your application. Selected candidates will be contacted for next steps, including interviews and assessments as needed.
If you're passionate about microfabrication and want to build a career in MEMS, we want to hear from you.
