Electrical Apprentice
Job Summary
F.H. Furr is seeking a motivated and dependable Electrical Apprentice to join our growing Electrical team in Rockville, MD. This entry-level position is designed for individuals eager to build a career in the electrical trade while receiving hands-on training under the guidance of licensed electricians. The Electrical Apprentice will assist with residential electrical installations, repairs, and maintenance while learning F.H. Furr safety standards, customer service expectations, and technical best practices.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Assist licensed electricians with residential electrical installations, diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance
  • Learn and follow all local, state, and national electrical codes and safety regulations
  • Safely use hand tools, power tools, and electrical testing equipment
  • Support troubleshooting of electrical systems including wiring, panels, outlets, switches, and fixtures
  • Maintain clean, organized, and safe job sites
  • Accurately complete required paperwork and job documentation
  • Provide professional and courteous service while in customers' homes
